Lǐgǎng (里港) is a township in northwestern Pingtung. Originally the territory of Plains Indigenous people, the area developed as a Qing dynasty era river port, shipping goods downstream to Donggang. The old town center retains Ligang Old Street (里港老街), the heritage-listed post office (里港郵便局), and several historic residences including the Cai family house (蔡家古厝). Two Japanese colonial era immigrant villages, Tokiwa (常盤) and Chitose (千歲), were established on the floodplains north of the main settlement in the 1930s.
