Fangshan

Fāngshān (枋山) is a sparsely populated coastal township in the deep south of Pingtung, centered on the village of Fenggang (楓港) at the junction where the highway splits toward Hengchun and Taitung. The South-Link Line curves inland through the township, passing the fortified Jiahe Railway Tunnel (嘉和遮體) and the near-deserted Neishi Station (內獅車站). The childhood home of former president Tsai Ing-wen can be found in Fenggang.
