Quảng Trị

Quang Tri

Quảng Trị is a coastal province in north-central Vietnam with a population of around 600,000. The province historically contained the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) at the 17th parallel, which divided North and South Vietnam from 1954 to 1976. An estimated 40% of all ordnance used during the Vietnam War was deployed in this single province, making it one of the most heavily bombed places in history.
