Gongguan Fuji Clinic (公館福基診所) - Spectral Codex
公館福基診所

Fuji Clinic (福基診所) was a small town medical center located in Gongguan, Miaoli. It was established by Xie Chunmei (謝春梅) in the early post-war era, likely in 1953. Despite his humble origins, Xie rose to national prominence in the new millennium thanks to his lifelong commitment to public health. He was still practicing medicine until passing away at the age of 99 in 2020. In his later years he was visited by a series of public officials including Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九), Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), and Lai Ching-te (賴清德), all of whom bestowed honors on the old doctor. The clinic closed its doors after Xie passed away.
