Originally established as Xinsheng Theater (新生戲院) in 1953, this was a large cinema with seating for 1,200. While the other two theaters in town played Chinese and Taiwanese language films, this theater specialized in Western and Japanese films. It was later demolished and rebuilt into a commercial complex, and the name was changed after the business was taken over by Xu Linbin (徐琳彬) and his wife Tang Songmei (湯松妹) in 1989. It rose to national prominence in the mid-2010s as one of the very last second-run theaters operating in the country until its closure in 2018. Inaccessible as of 2025.
