A two-storey modernist clinic in Chiayi City completed in 1968 for Dr. Su Qicai (蘇祈財), a Japan-trained physician who had opened the original Deshan Hospital nearby in 1953. The distinctive concrete-grille façade was designed by his nephew, then newly returned from architectural training abroad. After Su emigrated to the United States in 1989 the building sat vacant for three decades, reopening in 2021 as the second location of local dessert brand Taocheng Douhua (桃城豆花).
