Designed by Swiss architect Justus Dahinden and completed in 1960 as part of Gongdong Vocational High School (公東高級工業職業學) in Taitung City, established by Bethlehem Mission Society priest Father Jakob Hilber. This modernist building features dormitories, a student activity center, and a canteen on the lower levels with a chapel on the fourth floor. It was reinforced in 2010 after damage from the 921 Earthquake and the 331 Earthquake of 2002.
