Modernist council chamber for Taitung County designed by Lu Ayu (呂阿玉), completed in 1954 and expanded in 1963. Its perforated panel façade is characteristic of 1950s institutional architecture in Taitung. The council relocated in 1998 and the building was formally decommissioned in 2007. It has since been recognized for its heritage value but restoration plans have not begun as of the early 2020s.
