A major temple complex founded in 1967 by the local politician Zheng Zaichuan (鄭再傳), formally known as Guqifeng Putian Temple (古奇峰普天宮) and dedicated primarily to Guangong (關公), the God of War. A 36-meter seated statue of the god, among the giant gods of Taiwan and said to be the tallest of Guangong on the island, crowns the nine-storey main building consecrated in 1975. Subsidiary shrines and the adjoining Guqifeng Amusement Park were added over the following decades.
