Established in December 1948 for 57 households of the ROCAF in round wooden huts left by the Japanese naval air corps, along Gaofeng Road (高峰路) as it winds into the hills above Hsinchu. The slope spared it the floods that afflicted villages in the city below, though residents depended on military trucks from the airbase to get up and down. Demolished in the early 2010s.
