A second-run theater operating in or around the first-generation Zhulian Market (竹連市場) from around 1969 to around 1986. Initially it was operated by the owners of the former Xinwutai Theater (新舞台戲院), but it was later managed by Huang Bingxi (黃炳熙). Also known as Rixin Theater (日新戲院), likely because there were two separate halls. After 1986 work began on the second-generation Zhulian Market (竹連市場), which is situated further south from the original site around Nantian Dazhong Temple (南壇大眾廟).
