One of several anti-aircraft positions in the vicinity of Okayama Airfield (岡山機場), the IJN base in Gangshan, Kaohsiung. Three gun positions and a barracks once stood here, surrounded by defensive works, but only one relic survives: a circular emplacement roughly 15 meters in diameter with eight ammunition magazines. The rest of the site has been consumed by aquaculture ponds and overgrowth, obscuring it from nearby country roads. The land later passed to the Coast Guard Southern Patrol Training Base, since demolished, and the emplacement is regularly packed with hives, as it seems to be operating as an apiary on private property.
