A planned community of 53 households built for officers and high-ranking members of the air force operating out of the nearby airbase during World War 2. After the war all Japanese were expelled and it was renamed Lequn Village (樂群村). It continued to serve as a military dependents’ village, mostly for members of the ROCAF and their families. In 2010 the entire community was recognized for its heritage value.
