A military dependents’ community on the south side of the Fifth Special Police Corps (保安警察第五總隊) compound on Gangyan Road in Gangshan, Kaohsiung, laid out after 1945 as a camp of thatched barracks for ROC army soldiers. It shifted to residential use as dependents arrived and later served as staff quarters for the police corps, forming part of Chengxiang Borough (程香里).
