A planned community for high-ranking members of the IJN Air Force in World War 2. Now known varyingly as Xing Village Cultural Landscape Park (醒村文化景觀公園) or Gangshan Xing Village Cultural Park (岡山醒村文化園區). It was home to the iconic Xinxin Vegetable Market (欣欣菜場). The area to the east contained several other military dependents’ villages, all of which have been razed: Jianqiao New Village (筧橋新村), Kangle New Village (康樂新村), Xinsheng New Village (新生新村), Maoyi No. 10 Village (貿易十村), and Dapeng No. 9 Village (大鵬九村).
