A Martial Law era garrison post guarding the southern approach to Lanshi Bridge (蘭勢大橋), which carries traffic across the Da’an River between Zhuolan and Dongshi. Unofficial rosters assign it to Bridge and Tunnel Company 401 (橋隧401連) of the Taiwan Garrison Command (臺灣警備總司令部), headquartered beside the No. 8 Tunnel in Houli, though nothing has been published about this particular site. What can be seen from a distance looks like a sentry post on a small hill, possibly with further structures hidden in the undergrowth; on-site investigation is required to say more.
