A pair of Japanese colonial era dormitories next to Zhuolan Elementary School (卓蘭國小), the earliest public school in town. The dormitories were completed by 1914; one is recently restored and now operating as a small museum, Zhan Bing Literature Story Hall (詹冰文學故事館).
