An abandoned sentry post of Bridge and Tunnel Company 301 (東警部301橋隧連) under the Taiwan Garrison Command (臺灣警備總司令部) overlooking the southern exit of Guangfu Tunnel (光復隧道). The post was one of many positioned at strategic points along the Huadong Valley; the company was dissolved in December 1990, in the first round of cuts to the bridge and tunnel units, with the last of them following in 1992. The remaining facilities were demolished around 2018.
