Guāngfù (光復) is a rural township in the Huadong Valley of eastern Taiwan. The main tourist attraction is Hualien Sugar Factory (花蓮糖廠) and the Japanese colonial era dormitories nearby, but it also has cultural significance as the heartland of the Amis Indigenous people; the settlements of Fata’an (馬太鞍) and Tafalong (太巴塱) are among the oldest in the valley. In September 2025 a typhoon caused a landslide dam on Matai’an River (馬太鞍溪) to overflow, killing 19 and injuring over 150.
