Built in 1959 by the Dominican Order on the site of an earlier rented chapel from which Father Daigande (戴剛德) had launched the Catholic mission to Qishan, Meinong, and Liugui in 1955. The façade carries a statue of Christ above a mock rose-window relief. The ground floor originally housed a health clinic that closed in 1964 after the Dominican Mission Sisters operating it were transferred to the Paiwan settlement of Sandimen.
