A rare Tudor-style mansion built in the 1930s by Li Kairong (李開榮), a Pingtung businessman whose Xiecheng Trading Co. (協成商行) traded rice and dry goods, on the southeastern outskirts of Pingtung City. Li also financed the Wukuiliao Iron Bridge (五魁寮鐵橋) and served as township head of Chaozhou in the Japanese colonial era. The house stood in the Guilai (歸來) area next to Pingtung Tobacco Factory, gradually hemmed in by surrounding development. It was totally demolished in 2024 just shy of its centenary.
