Completed in 1935, this luxurious mansion on the west side of downtown Taichung was built by wealthy businessman Lin Lietang (1876–1947) of the Wufeng Lin family. Over the years it has seen many different uses, from Sanfu Hotel (三福大飯店) to Liuyan Restaurant (柳岸風情餐廳) and nowadays a KTV. It originally featured an extensive Japanese-style garden but the property has been carved up and much of it is now occupied by a gas station. Under renovation as of 2025, possibly to be demolished, and not readily accessible.
