A small European-style church built in 1963 to serve US soldiers stationed at Ching Chuan Kang Air Base (清泉崗空軍基地) as it expanded into one of the most important American military footholds in East Asia. The project was shepherded by base commander Chiang Wei-kuo (蔣緯國), the adopted son of Chiang Kai-shek, with fundraising led by Swedish missionaries of the China Holiness Mission. It was registered as a historic building in 2017.
