The former chapel at Ching Chuan Kang Air Base (清泉崗空軍基地), used by US Air Force personnel stationed here from the early 1950s through the withdrawal of American forces in 1979. In 2011 it was refurbished and reopened as the US Air Force in Ching Chuan Kang AFB Footprint Museum (美軍駐清泉崗基地足跡館), a small exhibit of artefacts and photographs documenting the American presence at the base. Access is strictly controlled and not normally available to the public. Occasionally the museum puts on exhibitions elsewhere.
