The oldest building in the headquarters compound of the Tatung Company (大同公司), built before 1945 by its predecessor, the Tatung Iron Works (大同鐵工所). A three-storey red brick structure, it is noted for its finely worked arches, sliding ventilation windows, bookcases built into the load-bearing walls, and a western-style roof. It was sensitively renovated in 2008 and listed as a historic building in 2018 but isn’t ordinarily open to the public.
