Completed in 1932, this was one of three incinerators constructed in Taipei to handle household waste disposal. It operated into the late 1950s and was eventually demolished by 1973 to clear space for Lanzhou Public Housing (蘭州國宅). The former site is now part of Shude Park (樹德公園).
