A small night market near Zhongshan North Road lined with long-established stalls, many trading for over thirty years. It was Taipei’s first designated regional “model” night market, marked out by its tidy, uniform orange signage. Specialities include Chiayi-style chicken rice, braised pork rice, and goose, and its setting amid the area’s bars draws a share of international visitors.
