Today Department Store (今日百貨南西店) opened on October 8th, 1977, on the former site of Rong Shing Bowling Center. The mixed-use complex paired retail floors with a basement supermarket, restaurants, and two fifth-floor cinemas, the Feicui (翡翠) and Mingzhu (明珠) theaters. China Rebar’s Lihpao Department Store (力霸百貨) took over in 1990, renaming the cinemas Lijing Feicui (麗晶翡翠) and Dongfang Mingzhu (東方明珠). The store was absorbed into Shin Kong Mitsukoshi in 2008. Since 2018 the building has housed Eslite Spectrum Nanxi (誠品生活南西).
