Completed in 1977, this 11-storey commercial building in central Yuanlin was reputedly the first department store in Changhua County. It replaced Zhonghua Theater (中華戲院), which had been demolished shortly before, and also seems to have featured a theater for a time. After the devastating 921 Earthquake in 1999 business operations suffered and by the 2010s it was one of several half-abandoned ruins in the downtown area. In 2024 a major revitalization effort was undertaken and the building is primed to reopen in early 2026. It is officially known as Sanhe Commercial Building (三和商業大樓).
