An octagonal Catholic church in Xinfeng, Hsinchu, completed in 1953. Its eight sides correspond to the Eight Beatitudes (真福八端) of the Sermon on the Mount, whose text hangs from the interior beams alongside the fourteen Stations of the Cross, below a band of stained glass. Beside the altar the parish keeps a memorial area of ancestral tablets for deceased parishioners and their relatives, with incense and candles for their commemoration.
