Sanheyuan in Taiwan

Sānhéyuàn (三合院) are the traditional U-shaped courtyard homes of Taiwan and parts of China. They are a common sight in the countryside but can also be seen in older, more historic areas of urban centers around the nation. Many of these traditional homes are neglected and in disrepair despite their sentimental value.
