A Qing dynasty era courtyard house in the hills of Shuangxi. The exact date of establishment is lost in the mists of time, but it survives into the present day in a decent state of preservation, and has earned heritage status. The common name of this house is derived from Zhuang Tingcun (莊廷燦), who in 1901 passed the imperial examination and was awarded the title of Gongsheng (貢生). It is also known as Zhuang Gongsheng Old House (莊貢生古厝) or simply the Zhuang Family Old House (莊家古厝).
