An old wooden house hidden in the back alleys of Xinhua dating back to 1840. A pamphlet is available on site showing many of the features of the house, including some wartime additions in the form of a bomb shelter dug beneath the hall at the entrance. Although parts of the house seem to still serve as a residence the house is generally open to the public and friendly locals may jump in to provide a tour.
