Founded in 1910 by Tong’an settlers in Luzhou, this Baosheng Dadi (保生大帝) temple was a major communal shrine for the villages of what was then called Heshangzhou (和尚洲), the older name for Luzhou. It was commissioned by Li Shuhua (李樹華), the same figure who built the adjacent Li Family Residence. Designated a municipal monument in 2016, the temple reopened in January 2021 after a six-year structural restoration.
