The former gatehouse to the compound, lost around 2018.

A brick and timber courtyard house completed around 1927, standing beside De’an Temple (德安宮) in Daxiadian (大霞佃) in Hemei, Changhua. It follows a single hall plan with one flanking wing, fronted by a worship pavilion (拜亭) carried on four heavy columns, a feature common to traditional residences on the Changhua Plains. The brick gatehouse enclosing the inner courtyard bears the ancestral name Jiangxia Yanpai (江夏衍派). A six-column baroque gateway with an ornamental gable and round windows once screened the outer courtyard from the road, but it collapsed around 2018, apparently in a typhoon, leaving only a fragment of wall.
