Established as early as 1968 as Tanzi Theater (潭子戲院). It was later renamed, but the circumstances are obscure. After closing it was renovated into a pharmacy. The building currently on site has been confirmed to be the original theater. Not much remains to hint at its former purpose except a raised area at the back of the pharmacy, likely the original stage.
