A temple venerating Tang dynasty general Ma Ren (馬仁), a deity commonly worshipped in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province. It was established in the 1720s, destroyed in 1911 due to an urban renewal project, and relocated to its current site in 1921. The temple fell into disrepair in the early post-war period but it was ultimately rebuilt in 1967. A bronze horse (銅馬) stands in front of the temple but it isn’t clear whether this is an actual Japanese colonial relic or a more recent work.
