A luxurious hotel established in 1966 at the intersection of Taiwan Boulevard and Xingmin Street by Xiao Songshan (蕭松山), founder of Seng Yuh Theater (森玉戲院). The unusual exterior was designed by Wang Shui-ho (王水河), a Taichung artist famous for his contributions to commercial design in the city. The building suffered a fire in July 2026.
