The most historic old temple at the heart of Guanxi, venerating Sanguan Dadi (三官大帝), the Three Officials, and long the main place of worship for the town’s Hakka community. It traces its origins to 1812, when Wei Agui (衛阿貴) and other local leaders raised funds for a temple that could double as a defensive stronghold on a contested frontier. That building burned down in 1895 and its successor moved to the present site in 1931.
