A distinctive residence in the heart of Guanxi built by former mayor Chen Xingsheng (陳興盛) in 1953. Although it is a post-war building it displays many features of Shōwa era Western-style mansions. In the post-war period it was eventually rented out by a candy manufacturer and more recently was rented out by a Taiwanese restaurant, Yiyin Noodles (一銀麵), which has since relocated. Local residents call it the former mayor’s house (老鎮長故宅).
