An official Qing dynasty era temple venerating Guangong in Changhua City. It was founded in 1735 by Changhua magistrate Qin Shiwang (秦士望) and relocated to its present site in 1800 after the original was damaged in the Lin Shuangwen (1786) and Chen Zhouquan (1795) uprisings. The architecture is mostly Quanzhou in style but the main hall shows traces of Cantonese craftsmanship that are uncommon among Changhua’s older temples. The rear hall was lost in a 2017 fire that spread from a neighbouring building and was rebuilt the following year. A plaque unveiled by former president Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) in 2018 can be found over the counter on the right side of the main hall. Overall it is very traditional and plain in its appearance, showing evidence of a management committee inclined toward neatness.
