An old Taiwanese courtyard home that once served as a place of study for local villagers in rural Guanxi, Hsinchu. It is now operating as a bed-and-breakfast and slow travel destination. It was also a filming location for Hou Hsiao-hsien’s 1989 film A City of Sadness (悲情城市).
