Completed in 1982, this was one of the last large-scale pedestrian bridges still standing in Taipei into the 2020s. Urban renewal projects have steadily removed these structures, which once spanned major intersections when traffic was far worse and more unruly in the capital. Nowadays they are considered unsightly and typically removed. It was ultimately demolished in 2025, but not before protests, concerts, vintage markets, and other events were held to honour its passing into history.
