Renwu Road Pedestrian Bridge (基隆仁五路天橋) - Spectral Codex

With the popularity of the Jiyixin Pedestrian Bridge built across from Keelung Station in 1972 a second bridge was built at the intersection of Renwu Road (仁五路), Nanrong Road (榮路), and Aisan Road (愛三路) on the south side of the urban core of Keelung in 1974. It was also sponsored by Keelung First Credit Union (基隆第一信用合作社) and also bears the same official name of Jixiyin Pedestrian Bridge (基一信橋). Perhaps because of this duplication it was more generally known simply as the Renwu Road Pedestrian Bridge. It was demolished in late 2015 or early 2016 with much less fanfare.

Such pedestrian bridges were seldom used in the new millennium, but I found they added an interesting three-dimensional character to urban Keelung, and regularly tried them anytime I visited.
