Eleven brick and timber police dormitories lining a narrow lane off Datong Road (大同路) near Zhudong Market, built in 1962 by the local branch of the Police Civilian Association (警民協會) and donated to house officers and their families. By 2018 all but two had been vacated, and over the objections of local preservation advocates the county council approved the demolition of three dilapidated units so their land could be returned to the National Property Administration (國有財產署). As of 2026 several units remain standing but in poor condition.
