Established in 1936, this elegant theater with a capacity of 800 was the first to regularly screen films, in additional to hosting traditional opera troupes and other performances. Originally known by its Japanese name, Eiraku-za (榮樂座), and occasionally Eiraku-kan (榮樂館 or 永樂館) in records. In business until the very late 1980s and later demolished.
