One of the most well-known abandoned cinemas in Taiwan. It was famously featured in Tsai Ming-liang’s Goodbye, Dragon Inn (2003). Complicated property rights have stalled urban renewal efforts, so it may remain abandoned for quite some time yet. Much of the interior has been cleared out in recent years, however, and some effort has been undertaken to discourage entry.
Warning: this location is abandoned, hazardous, or otherwise neglected and may be unsafe and even dangerous! Exercise appropriate precautions when visiting.
