A compact Tudigong (土地公) temple named for Dianzaijie (店仔街), a market street that grew up around a landing where boats from Bangka (艋舺) unloaded goods on their way up the Xindian River. Local tradition dates its founding to the Kangxi reign more than three centuries ago, making it the oldest temple in Yonghe, though no documentary evidence for that date has surfaced. Its most popular altar belongs to Huye (虎爺), the Tiger God, enshrined in an artificial grotto behind the main hall rather than beneath the altar table, an arrangement the temple attributes to the deity’s own request in a dream.
