The building, marked as the Nanxian District Fisheries Association Comprehensive Fish Products Processing Factory (南縣區漁會魚產品綜合加工廠), was slated for conversion into a modern fish processing facility with cold storage and freezing equipment as of 2017, but it remains derelict as of 2025.
