Xuejia Jihe Temple (後社角集和宮) - Spectral Codex
後社角集和宮

Established in the Houshajiao (後社角) neighborhood of Xuejia in 1827, Jihe Temple is renowned for its centipede formation (蜈蚣陣), a traditional folk religious procession featuring wooden boards linked together with children dressed as deities riding atop. The formation, collectively representing the Hundred-Legged Immortal (百足真人), serves a protective function, exorcising evil energy wherever it passes. The dragon head (龍頭) at the front of the formation is enshrined on an alter within the temple. The temple was most recently reconstructed in 1967.
